Leonie Arnold

B. App. Sc. Physiotherapy

I am the youngest and newest addition to Lifespan.  After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2004, I was successful in obtaining the new graduate physiotherapy position at Noarlunga Hospital for 2005/2006.  Throughout my time at the hospital I learnt many new skills, particularly around Primary Health Care and chronic disease management.  During my employment at Noarlunga Hospital, I also worked part time at a Nursing home in Kingswood.  In November 2005 I commenced work at a private practice in Morphett Vale.

 

 In October 2006 I started my employment with Lifespan and currently work alongside Feng at Calvary Hospital each week day morning and do home visits in the afternoons.  I have well-developed skills and knowledge in a range of areas and have particular interests in Cardio-respiratory and Musculo-skeletal physiotherapy.

 

 I am currently a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association which allows me to keep in touch with the latest research and developments in the world of physiotherapy.  Outside of my working life I am enjoying setting up my new home in with my partner Ashley.  My other interests include traveling, social netball and wakeboarding.  I look forward to a long and successful career with Lifespan!
