Our BETTER BONES PROGRAMME is designed to help strengthen and protect bones, through:

 

·                 Strength training and weight bearing exercise to load the bones and improve/maintain bone density.

 

·                 Programmes to improve posture, maintain spinal extension and protect the spine.

 

·                 Balance work to prevent falls and reduce fracture risk

 

·                 Targets specific fracture sites: hips, spine and wrist

 

·                 Safety measures whilst exercising

 

·                 Pain management

 

·                 Education Resource Manual covering aspects of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle.

 

Our Physiotherapists have undertaken the Osteoporosis Leadership Programme conducted by the Arthritis Foundation and are members of the Osteoporosis Foundation.

 

They have a combined experience of over 20 years of working with osteoporosis clients.
